The Christian Outreach Committee is kicking off our annual Giving Tree project and this year we have decided to support the Residential Reunification Homes run by Community Healthlink whom we worked with last year.
These three homes, two in Worcester and one in Leominster, are residential treatment programs that provide a safe, supportive recovery community and promotes a sense of empowerment, family healing, and life skills essential for women and their children to stabilize and reunify their family units. These programs support and strengthen the family unit and provide these moms with the support they need to become effective, self-reliant caretakers for their children. These Christmas presents will bring joy to a group of children who otherwise may not get to enjoy a “normal” Christmas morning.
The Outreach Committee has put together a registry on Amazon and as a congregation we will try to meet the needs from the Children’s Wish List. The registry can be found on Amazon under lists, by clicking the link below.
Instead of ordering a gift online, Kristen will accept Amazon gift cards that can be dropped off at the church office by December 18th.
We are asking that all purchases be made by December 18, 2023, to allow for delivery ahead of Christmas. Your gifts or gift cards can either be mailed directly to Kristen using the address that appears online or they can be dropped off at the church by December 18th. No need to wrap presents as the managers of the programs are going to take care of that.
